Sporobolus pyramidatus (Target Dropseed) is a species of annual herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Puerto Rico, Caatinga, Amazônia, Pantanal, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Norte, Piauí, The Contiguous United States, Pernambuco, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, ParaíBa, Ceará, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.1 m.
