Leaf-blades linear to linear-lanceolate, oblong-linear, or oblong-ovate, 1.5-6 cm. long, acute or slightly acuminate, shining, reticulate, sparingly, but inconspicuously, fine-pubescent, bright-green on both sides, short-petioled ; flower-stalks stout, stiff ; sepals ovate, 2-2.5 mm. long, glabrous or nearly so, the glands fully one half as long as the sepal-body ; petals blue, 4.5-6.5 mm. long, with suborbicular blades erose-denticulate near the base ; samaras orbicular-obcordate, 9-11 mm. wide, the lateral wings undulate or cristate, the dorsal wing keel-like.
