Myrcia sylvatica is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Amazônia, The Neotropics, Pernambuco, Amapá, ParaíBa, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, RondôNia, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Caatinga, Ceará, Alagoas, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
