Description

Suffrutex, growing from a creeping rhizome. Stems usually unbranched except where not burnt back by grass fires. Leaves mostly in 3's or 4's, sometimes (sub)opposite, linear to narrowly elliptic. Flowers solitary in the (lower) leaf axils, creamy-white with brownish stamens.Fruits spherical, c. 1.5 cm in diameter, purple-black when ripe.
