Miconia holosericea is a species of tree in the family melastomes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to ParaíBa, Sergipe, Maranhao, Pernambuco, Amazônia, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amapá, Ceará, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, Acre (Brazil), Minas Gerais, GoiáS, Roraima, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Alagoas, RondôNia, Tocantins, Pará, and Distrito Federal. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 7.8 m.
