Ceiba samauma (C. Mart. & Zucc.) Schum.

Ceiba samauma is a species of tree in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Acre (Brazil), The Neotropics, GoiáS, Cerrado, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Piauí, RondôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Tocantins, and Pará. They have broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
