Hyptis dilatata is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Roraima, Amapá, RondôNia, Amazônia, Pará, Cerrado, and Mato Grosso. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pyrgus oileus, Augochloropsis callichroa, and Polybia ignobilis.
