It is a prostrate crispate-hairy to glabrescent perennial herb. Stems are branched, spreading, and brittle. Leaves are linear-lanceolate; the sessile ones are fleshy. Flowers are 4 sepals and 4 petals and arranged in dense axillary and terminal cymose clusters. The utricle is enclosed in the calyx and the seeds are ovoid, brownish.
