Plants acaulescent or subcaulescent with the development of a pseudoscape, 4—10 cm. high, glabrous; leaves ovate in general outline, excluding the petioles L.5— 4 cm. long, pinnate, the leaflets shallowly pinnately lobed, the lobes obtuse, 2-3-lobulate, apiculate, pallid, fleshy or coriaceous; peduncles usually slightly exceeding the leaves; involucre wanting; involucel of subscarious, purple, linear, entire bractlets, acute at the apex, usually exceeding the flowers; umbels subcompact, the rays several, unequal, 2-10 mm. long; flowers white; fruit ovoid-oblong, 5-7 mm. long, 3-4 mm. broad, the wings not constricted at the base, tapering gradually toward the apex, broader than the body, the dorsal wings 3, similar to the lateral; oil-tubes solitary in the intervals, 2 on the commissure; seed-face concave.

Distribution: Western Utah.
