Sanicula europaea (Sanicle) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Vespula rufa, Hydrotaea dentipes, Cabbage Maggot, and Banded Meliscaeva. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
