Gamochaeta filaginea is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pampa, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, South America, Mata Atlântica, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.1 m.
