Stigmaphyllon grenadense Niedzu. Gen. Stigmat 2 : 26. 1900. Leaf-blades ovate to suborbicular or sometimes reniform, 8-15 cm. long, short-acuminate, glabrous or nearly so and bright-green above, paler and finely pubescent beneath, cordate at the base, long-petioled; peduncles and pedicels finely pubescent; sepals ovate, 3.5-4 mm. long, the glands fully one half the length of the sepal-bod}' ; larger petals 10-13 mm. long ; samaras not seen.
Type locality : Grenada. Distribution : Grenada ; also in Tobago.
