Sonchus arvensis (Field Sowthistle) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achene. Flowers are visited by Andrena nitidiuscula, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Red Admiral, and Cryptic Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.9 m.
