Foraminifera, test attached, trochospiral, large, flattened with numerous crescentic to irregularly coiled chambers, later chambers expanded, may be subdivided by secondary septula resulting from infolding of the wall; aperture umbilical single in the early chambers, multiple in the later chambers; common in tropical shallow waters.
