Cornus sanguinea (Bloodtwig Dogwood) is a species of shrub in the family dogwoods. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Queen of Spain Fritillary, Criorhina asilica, Cheilosia pagana, and Yellow and black longhorn. Individuals can grow to 4 m.
