Fouquieria splendens (Ocotillo) is a species of shrub in the family Fouquieriaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, and United States. They have simple, spine-shaped leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Costa's Hummingbird, White-crowned Sparrow, Anna's Hummingbird, and Rufous Hummingbird. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
