Persea palustris (Swamp Bay) is a species of shrub in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 35 feet.
