The shell size varies between 100 mm and 170 mm.
This species is distributed in the Western Pacific Ocean and along the Philippines.

Thersistrombus thersites is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Strombidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1823 door Swainson.
