Castilleja exserta (Exserted Indian Paintbrush) is a species of annual herb in the family Orobanchaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Callophrys augustinus, California Bumble Bee, and Lytta stygica.
