Cornus kousa (Chinese Dogwood) is a species of tree in the family dogwoods. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by drone fly, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Epistrophe aino, and Ivela auripes. Individuals can grow to 8 m.
