Amplexoporina is a suborder of bryozoans. There are 1988 species of Amplexoporina, in 157 genera and 29 families. This suborder has been around since the ordovician period. It includes groups like Orbiporidae, Eridotrypellidae, and Ralfimartitidae. Dead Amplexoporina form shallow marine sediments. They are sessile animals.
