Lantana velutina (Velvet Shrubverbena) is a species of shrub in the family Verbenaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Thorybes dorantes, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Vanessa cardui, and Barred Yellow.
