Ipomoea philomega is a species of shrub in the family Convolvulaceae. They are obligate climbers. They are native to Amapá, Rio Grande Do Norte, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, Pernambuco, Amazônia, Roraima, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Brazil, Pará, Sergipe, RondôNia, Ceará, ParaíBa, Tocantins, Espirito Santo, Acre (Brazil), Paraná, and Maranhao. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes.
