Heuchera utahensis Rydb. sp. nov
Heiuliera parvifolia S. Wats. Bot. King's Expl. 96, in part. 1871.
Acaulescent; flowering branches 5-6 dm. high, minutely puberulent; petioles 6-10 cm. long, glabrous or nearly so ; blades reniform, the basal lobes usually overlapping, 5-8 cm. broad, almost glabrous and shining, crenate with rounded or truncate teeth ; inflorescence narrow, but open ; hypanthium greenish, together with the triangular sepals about 3 mm. long ; petals spatulate, scarcely equaling the sepals.
Type collected in City Creek Canon, Utah, at an altitude of 2,200 meters, in 1880, by M. E. Jones.
