Hypericum prolificum (Shrubby St. Johnswort) is a species of shrub in the family Hypericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Australia, Canada, Eastern North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Mallota posticata, Melissodes bimaculatus, Augochlorella aurata, and Xylocopa virginica virginica. Individuals can grow to 0.99 m.
