Gutierrezia sarothrae (Broom Snakeweed) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, North America, United States, The Neotropics, Western North America, Eastern North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Common Branded Skipper, Halictus ligatus, Gray Hairstreak, and Euodynerus annulatus. Individuals can grow to 1.5 feet.
