Test small, elongate, proloculus followed by chambers one-half coil in length, quinqueloculine, later chambers added on opposite sides in a single plane, resembling Massilina, and finally uncoiled and rectilinear, uniserial chambers may be pyriform in shape and angular in section; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous; aperture rounded, at a slight inflation of the narrowed end of the final chamber.
