Asterropteryx semipunctata és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

Depredadors

A la Polinèsia Francesa és depredat per Epinephelus merra.[6]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 1-20 m de fondària.[4][7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des del Mar Roig fins a les Hawaii, les Illes de la Línia, les Tuamotu, el sud del Japó[8] i l'Illa de Lord Howe.[4][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38]

Costums

És bentònic.[39]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
