Oreochromis aureus (Blue Tilapia) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Cichlidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Nigeria, Israel, Senegal, Niger, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Mali, Chad, Jordan, and Cameroon. Individuals can grow to 45.7 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
