Acipenser oxyrinchus (Gulf Sturgeon) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family sturgeons. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN, as threatened by COSEWIC, and in cites appendix ii. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 430 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
