Lamna nasus (Porbeagle) is a species of modern sharks in the family white sharks. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN, as endangered by COSEWIC, and in cites appendix ii. They are native to the Palearctic, Arctic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, The Nearctic, Mediterranean Sea, Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands), Atlantic Ocean, and Ethiopia. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 350 cm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
