Aeolidiella sanguinea is a species of sea slug, an aeolid nudibranch in the family Aeolidiidae.[2]
This marine species was described from Innislacken, Roundstone Bay, Ireland. It has been reported from the Atlantic coast of Europe from Scotland south to Portugal and in the Atlantic Ocean off the Azores.[3]
Aeolidiella sanguinea is an aeolidiid nudibranch with a translucent red body and cerata. The rhinophores and oral tentacles are tipped with white. The body attains a length between 30 mm and 45 mm.[3][4]

Aeolidiella sanguinea, in het Nederlands verborgen vlokslak, is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Aeolidiidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1877 door Norman.
In 2014 werd de slak voor het eerst in Nederland, in de Oosterschelde waargenomen. De zeenaaktslak is vooral 's nachts actief, waardoor het dier moeilijk is waar te nemen.[2]
