Psammocora profundacella is a species of cnidarians in the family Psammocoridae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Psammocora profundacella form shallow marine sediments. Psammocora profundacella form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have no parental care. They are sessile animals.
