Porites murrayensis is a species of cnidarians in the family Poritidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Porites murrayensis form shallow marine sediments. Porites murrayensis form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They have parental care (brooding and symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
