Echinopora forskaliana (Hedgehog Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Hedgehog Coral form shallow marine sediments. Hedgehog Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
