Montipora monasteriata (Forskål 1775)

Montipora monasteriata (Monasteria Microporous Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Monasteria Microporous Coral form shallow marine sediments. Monasteria Microporous Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have parental care (symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
