Prosopis glandulosa (Honey Mesquite) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, United States, Western North America, and North America. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Protoxaea gloriosa, Chauliognathus scutellaris, Xylocopa sonorina, and Centris rhodopus. Individuals can grow to 4.5 m.
