Ranunculus abortivus (Littleleaf Buttercup) is a species of biennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Alaska, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Bibio pallipes, Epeolus pusillus, Nine-spotted Lady Beetle, and Cheilosia hoodiana. Individuals can grow to 2.8 feet.
