Tayassu pecari (White Lipped Peccary) is a species of mammals in the family peccaries. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to The Neotropics. They are crepuscular omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 252 months and can grow to 1170 mm. They rely on running to move around.
