Thalia geniculata (Bent Alligator Flag) is a species of perennial herb in the family Marantaceae. They are native to Puerto Rico, Bahia, The Contiguous United States, Mato Grosso, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Distrito Federal, RondôNia, Cerrado, Maranhao, Amazônia, Paraná, Ceará, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Tocantins, Caatinga, Pará, Pampa, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, Minas Gerais, Acre (Brazil), SãO Paulo, Roraima, Amapá, Pantanal, Pernambuco, GoiáS, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Piauí. Flowers are visited by Brazilian Skipper, White-tailed Goldenthroat, American Bumblebee, and Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
