Martes americana (American Marten) is a species of mammals in the family Mustelidae. They are native to The Nearctic and United States. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 228 months and can grow to 381.36 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
