Myrmecophaga tridactyla (Giant Anteater) is a species of mammals in the family anteaters. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are found in The Neotropics. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 312 months and can grow to 1124.72 mm. They have parental care (female provides care).
