Artibeus jamaicensis (Jamaican Fruit Eating Bat) is a species of bats in the family New World leaf-nosed bats. It is found in the Neotropics and the Nearctic. It is a frugivore. Individuals are known to live for 120 months and can grow to 43.63 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Jamaican Fruit Eating Bat relies on flight to move around.
