Pteropus pumilus is a species of bats in the family Old World fruit bats. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Asia. They are solitary, crepuscular herbivores. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
