Cuniculus paca (Lowland Paca) is a species of rodents in the family pacas. It is listed in CITES Appendix III. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Lowland Paca is found in the Neotropics. It is a nocturnal frugivore. Individuals are known to live for 192 months and can grow to 10000 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Lowland Paca relies on running to move around.
