작은살찐꼬리쇠주머니쥐 또는 커먼살찐꼬리쇠주머니쥐(Thylamys pusillus)는 주머니쥐과에 속하는 살찐꼬리쇠주머니쥐의 일종이다. 차코와 안데스 산맥 구릉 지대 서식지의 아르헨티나와 볼리비아, 브라질 그리고 파라과이에서 발견된다.[2] 몸길이는 약 75~120mm이고, 꼬리 길이는 약 90~134mm이다. 등 쪽의 털은 갈색빛의 회색이고, 복부 쪽 털은 노르스름한 색부터 흰색을 띤다. 다리와 뺨은 복부 쪽 피부와 같은 색을 보인다. 꼬리는 두 가지 색으로 선명하게 나뉜다. 눈 둘레에 희미하게 어두운 색의 털이 둥글게 나 있다.[3] 꼬리에 지방이 부족한 적도 있지만 늘 그렇지는 않다.[4]
