Leptonycteris yerbabuenae (Lesser Long Nosed Bat) is a species of bats in the family New World leaf-nosed bats. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are native to The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Stenocereus stellatus, Palmer's century plant, Pachycereus pringlei, and Organ Pipe Cactus. They are nocturnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 120 months and can grow to 21.99 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
