Buliminacean foraminifera, test slightly compressed, biserial to uniserial; aperture terminal with bordering lip and internal siphonlike toothplate that generally changes in orientation by 180¡ (Siphogenerinoidinae) or by 120¡ (Tubulogenerininae) in successive chambers.
