Viola riviniana (Common Dog Violet) is a species of perennial herb in the family Violaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Large bee-fly, dingy skipper, Common carder bumblebee, and Boloria euphrosyne. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
