Viola riviniana is a species of perennial herb in the family Violaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Anthocharis cardamines, Small tortoiseshell, Bombylius major, and Erebia aethiops. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
