属 リス亜科（Sciurinae）は、哺乳綱ネズミ目リス亜目リス科に分類される亜科。
アメリカ大陸、ユーラシア大陸の樹上性リス（5属38種）とモモンガ、ムササビなどの滑空性のリス（15属45種）からなる。
リス亜科は、Hoffman et al. (1993) により、すべての樹上性リスとジリスを含むとされ、またモモンガとムササビは、Thorington (2002) などにより、(Pteromyinae) として別の亜科に分類されていた[1][2]。 しかし、Steppan (2006) による頭蓋の形態学的研究および12SrRNAの核遺伝子の配列の研究の結果、樹上性リスは、ジリスよりも滑空性のリスとより近い関係にあるという、異なる関係性が提示された[3]。このことにより、リス亜科には、樹上性リスおよび滑空性リスが分類され、ジリスは Xerinae亜科に分類されている。
